Our work in Ghana
Our range in Ghana serves three main needs: moving cash and bullion securely, protecting executives and visiting delegations, and giving government security agencies reliable team transport. Many journeys combine Accra's city traffic with long runs on regional roads to mines and field sites.
For executive and staff transport, the armoured Land Cruiser 300 offers comfort with a discreet appearance, while the armoured Land Cruiser 76 is built for rougher roads, from CEN B4 to B7. For banks and cash-management companies, the Land Cruiser 79 CIT adds a high-security vault, interlocking doors and run-flat tyres. Government agencies can choose from the MEVA Valor and Maximus APCs, both built on the Land Cruiser 79.
Ghana only registers left-hand-drive vehicles, so every vehicle we supply is built in left-hand drive. Armoured vehicles are a restricted import in Ghana, and we confirm your eligibility and permits before quoting. After delivery, the Ghana hub coordinates servicing and spare parts under our Customer for Life programme.

How long does delivery to Ghana take?
The voyage from Ras Al Khaimah to Tema usually takes four to six weeks, depending on sailing schedules. Total lead time also depends on the model, protection level and our build schedule, and on how long your import permits take. We confirm a delivery date in writing with every quotation.
What permits are needed to import an armoured vehicle into Ghana?
Armoured vehicles are a restricted import in Ghana, so approval is needed before shipment. Cash-in-transit vehicles fall under the Ministry of the Interior's armoured bullion vehicle guidelines, enforced by GRA Customs, the Ghana Police Service and the Bank of Ghana. We confirm your eligibility first, then supply the technical and shipping documents your applications need.
Can you supply left-hand-drive armoured vehicles for Ghana?
Yes. Ghana does not register right-hand-drive vehicles, so every armoured vehicle we supply for Ghana is built in left-hand drive. This applies to our armoured Land Cruisers, cash-in-transit vehicles and armoured personnel carriers, so the vehicle can be registered without conversion after it clears Tema.
Which protection levels are available in Ghana?
Levels are set per model and listed on each vehicle page. The armoured Land Cruiser 76 is available from CEN B4 to B7, the Land Cruiser 79 cash-in-transit vehicle is built to CEN B6 and STANAG Level I, and the MEVA Maximus reaches CEN B7 and STANAG Level II. Our company certifications include VPAM VR7 BRV & ERV and BSI PAS 300.
Who handles servicing and spare parts in Ghana?
Servicing and spare parts are coordinated through our Regional Support Hub – Ghana, with engineering support from our Ras Al Khaimah facility. Our Ghana range is built on Toyota Land Cruiser platforms, so routine mechanical servicing is simple, while armour, glass and run-flat parts are supplied by us under our Customer for Life programme.
Delivery and lead times
Vehicles are shipped by sea from Ras Al Khaimah to Tema, Ghana's main port for vehicle imports. The voyage usually takes four to six weeks, depending on sailing schedules, and we confirm the full lead time, including build time, in writing with your quotation.
Armoured vehicles are a restricted import in Ghana. Armoured bullion vehicles must follow the Ministry of the Interior's guidelines on their importation, retrofitting and use, enforced by the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority with the Ghana Police Service and the Bank of Ghana. We provide specifications, ballistic certificates, invoices and shipping documents for your permit applications, and work with your clearing agent at Tema until the vehicle is released.
