About MEVA MAXIMUS
The MEVA Maximus is a double-cab, pickup-type armoured personnel carrier built on the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 chassis. It comes in Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) and Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV) versions, so a unit can order the same vehicle for patrol work or for a more tactical role and keep one platform in the fleet.
The double cab seats 11 (2 + 3 + 6), so a full team travels inside the armour together, and the vehicle is built in left- or right-hand drive to match the fleet it joins.
It suits units that move a full team together and expect to leave the vehicle quickly with their equipment. For the same chassis in a single-cab layout that seats eight, see the MEVA Valor.
Every Maximus is backed by our Customer for Life programme, with maintenance, spare parts and driver training through our services.
Armouring Levels
The Maximus is listed at CEN Level B7, the higher of the two European ballistic resistance levels for vehicle armour and glass, and at NATO STANAG Levels I and II, where Level II is the higher of the two. Further levels are available on request, so a fleet can be specified above the catalogue rating where the threat demands it.

Armouring options
The Maximus ships with a roof hatch, turret and gun ports, anti-rust protection on the steel and customised rear seating as standard; communications, camera, crew-protection and power options are specified on top of that list.
Features
The cabin is closed in transparent armour and layered ballistic glass, and the engine unit is shielded so a hit to the front does not strand the crew. Door openings are the usual weak point in an armoured body; here they are engineered for protected access and a fast exit rather than added as an afterthought.

Stealth Mode
The Stealth Mode (Black Out System) allows to operate with minimal visibility, disabling exterior lights and reducing electronic signatures to enhance covert operations and avoid detection

Clamshell Doors
Engineered to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of armoured vehicles by providing a robust and versatile solution for secure entry and exit.

Roof Hatch & 360° Turret
Superior tactical versatility, allowing for all-around observation, firing capabilities, and rapid entry or exit from the vehicle, enhancing overall operational effectiveness

Stowage Space
Secure storage for equipment, supplies, and personal gear, ensuring organization and accessibility

Rear Bench Seats
Facilitating easy access and rapid deployment while ensuring their safety in high-risk environments

Engine Unit Protection
Safeguards Engine Control Unit (ECU) and battery against ballistic threats and blast impacts, ensuring continuous power supply and maintaining operational integrity.

Transparent Armor
The transparent armor ensures clear visibility and unmatched safety, while providing exceptional blast and ballistic resitance

Multi-Layered Ballistic Glass
Withstands ballistic and blast impacts, ensuring maximum protection for occupants. This advanced glass construction maintains transparent armour while providing robust defense against bullets and shrapnel.
A double cab under armour is a heavy vehicle, so suspension and tyres are upgraded to carry it, and a run-flat system keeps it moving after tyre damage. Airflow to the engine is managed for hot climates, and a heavy-duty winch recovers the vehicle when its own weight works against it off-road.

Premium Heavy Duty Tyres
Built to withstand the most challenging terrains and heavy loads, offering exceptional durability, superior traction, and enhanced safety. Ideal for both off-road adventures and demanding urban environments.

Run Flat System
This advanced system allows the vehicle to continue driving at a controlled speed even after a tyre has been punctured or damaged, ensuring mission completion and enhanced safety in critical situations

Advanced Electronic System
We recommend and deploy diverse of advanced electronics & electrical systems in our Armoured Toyota Land Cruiser, in order to deny unauthorized access to facilities, to minimize the risk of dangerous operational failures and to protect personnel or property from damage or harm (such as espionage, theft, or terrorist attacks).

Communication Systems
Ensure reliable and secure communication, enhancing coordination and situational awareness during operations

Heavy-Duty Tires
Exceptional durability and traction, enabling the vehicle to navigate challenging terrains with enhanced stability and performance

Bonnet Airdam
Improves aerodynamics and engine cooling by directing airflow over the bonnet

Heavy Duty Winch
Provides powerful and reliable assistance for recovery operations, enabling the vehicle to pull or lift heavy loads in challenging conditions

Light Configurations
Strobe lights and advanced lighting options enhance visibility and communication, providing powerful illumination for operations and signaling
