Every vehicle is built in our own facilities in the UAE and Jordan. How long does delivery to Nigeria take?
Sea transit from Ras Al Khaimah to Lagos usually takes four to six weeks. Total lead time also depends on the vehicle, protection level and our build schedule, plus the time needed for your End-User Certificate and customs clearance at Apapa or Tin Can Island. We confirm a delivery date in writing with every quotation.
What paperwork is needed to import an armoured vehicle into Nigeria?
Armoured vehicles need an End-User Certificate issued through the Office of the National Security Adviser before the Nigeria Customs Service will clear them. The Nigerian buyer applies on the ONSA portal, and each application is screened before approval. We provide the proforma invoice, specifications and ballistic certificates for the application, together with the export and shipping documents.
Which protection levels are available for vehicles in Nigeria?
Levels are set per model and stated on each vehicle page. For example, the MEVA Straton offers CEN B6 and B7 and STANAG Level I, with Level II as an option, while the Land Cruiser 79 cash-in-transit vehicle is built to CEN B6 and STANAG Level I. Our company certifications include VPAM VR7 BRV & ERV and BSI PAS 300.
Who handles servicing and spare parts in Nigeria?
Servicing and spare parts are coordinated through our Regional Support Hub – Nigeria, with engineering support from our Ras Al Khaimah facility. Most vehicles we recommend for Nigeria are built on Toyota platforms, so routine mechanical servicing is simple, while armour, glass and run-flat parts are supplied by us under our Customer for Life programme.

Delivery and lead times
Vehicles leave our Ras Al Khaimah facility by sea for Lagos, clearing through Apapa or Tin Can Island port, the main gateways for vehicle imports into Nigeria. Sea transit is usually four to six weeks; total lead time depends on the model, protection level and build slot, and we confirm it in writing with your quotation.
Nigeria requires an End-User Certificate from the Office of the National Security Adviser before armoured vehicles can be cleared by the Nigeria Customs Service. The certificate is applied for by the Nigerian buyer; we supply the proforma invoice, technical specifications and ballistic certificates the application needs. We also arrange the UAE export documents, commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading, and work with your clearing agent until the vehicle is released.
